As you know Huis Baeyens has 2 departments (Wommelgem and Antwerp). These 2 departments have the same core activity (costumes and accessories), but still differ considerably. In Antwerp, the range of rental clothing is much more extensive (approx. 80,000 costumes) and the emphasis is on historical, folklore, theater and television clothing. In Wommelgem you can find more extensive shopping clothes (carnival and parties) and accessories. Of course there is also clothing for sale in Antwerp and you can also rent in Wommelgem, but the choice has been adjusted. The range of rental clothing in Wommelgem is of a slightly lighter quality and more focused on parties and therefore somewhat cheaper. Costumes can be rented in Antwerp by appointment only.

My son was looking for a hulk suit for carnival this year, nowhere to be found in his size.. Until we called Baeyens house.. They had a hulk costume, the makeup, hair coloring and everything! They really made my son very happy that day, his snout was worth gold.. ❤️

Huis Baeyens is really the place to be if you need costumes for an event, if you are short of make-up products or if you are looking for the craziest wigs for carnival. Not only do they have a very large and beautiful assortment of items, but the Baeyens family themselves are also great treasures! You want to go back just for the fun. In addition, they also have the opportunity for the (old) studio 100 fans to admire the beautiful costumes from your favorite musical.
