This beautiful recreational park of 65 hectares is easily accessible via the N-15 and is equipped with a large free parking lot and bicycle shed. City line 2 has its terminus for the access to the Nekker.
De Nekker is relaxation for the whole family. You will find an attractive water and sand playground, a wonderful swimming pond with sandy beach and sunbathing lawn and various picnic areas.
A stone's throw from Mechelen, De Nekker offers the perfect location for every occasion. The domain has well-maintained indoor and outdoor sports and recreational facilities. A good and modern cafeteria turns every occasion into a real celebration. There is also a sports accommodation and two comfortable hiker's cabins.
For your family or company party, De Nekker has a restaurant and a water sports building with a beautiful view of the pond at your disposal. We are also happy to take care of the catering for all your events.
De Nekker also organizes all kinds of events throughout the year to make staying on the domain even more pleasant. So be sure to keep a close eye on the website. The De Nekker Sports and Recreation Center is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Access is only permitted upon presentation of an identity card. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
