Willy's Caribbean Steelband turns any party into an incredible happening. The group specializes in South American repertoire such as soca, calipso, merengue, salsa, bachata, reggae, ballets, top 40 and Christmas songs. The band is formed around Willy Richardson who has been playing the Steeldrum for 45 years. Willy's father is a well-known steel band leader. Maker and tuner on Curacao Willy Caribbean Steelband has won several awards on Curacao and the Netherlands. Performed for Dutch embassies in Austria, Budapest, Uganda, Kigali and Ruwanda during Konninginnedag. Among the many people Willy's Caribbean Steelband has played for is the Royal House thanks party Princess Beatrix 01.02.2014. Also acted for Konig of Spain and Ex-President George Bush of the US. In 2014 we toured Jakarta for some concerts. Performed regularly in Germany and Belgium. Entertainment done on Cruises DFDS in Scandinavia. Done several TV shows including Billy Ocean accompanied during a famous TV program. Bet that, Ten in the pan, Telekids. Willy Caribbean Steelband has made three albums, the last of which is Me and my D-Tenor ..
