We Shape

In the past, we have worked in various capacities with Festarent, which has been part of Total-e Event for several years. A few months before COVID19 broke out, we placed an order for one of our clients for almost 1400 €, which had to be paid before delivery, which also happened. Afterwards we receive a reminder, for this full amount, on which we inform Festa that it has been paid, apparently there will be another reminder afterwards (which we apparently do not follow up properly at the company) of 5.45 € for a broken glass . The balance of the invoice of € 1400, meanwhile, almost 1 year passes, in complete silence, to then claim € 95.8 via bailiff. SOLIDARITY in the event sector, but not at Total-e Event, on the contrary.

In het verleden, hebben wij in verschillende hoedanigheden gewerkt met Festarent, sinds enkele jaren behorende tot Total-e Event. Enkele maanden voor COVID19, uitbrak, hebben wij voor 1 van onze opdrachtgevers, een bestelling geplaatst van bijna 1400€, deze moest voor levering betaald worden, wat ook gebeurde. Nadien krijgen wij een maning, voor deze volledige som, waarop we Festa op de hoogte brengen dat deze betaald is, blijkbaar komt er nadien nog een maning (die we op het bedrijf blijkbaar niet goed opvolgen) van 5,45€ voor een gebroken glas. Het saldo van de factuur van 1400€, ondertussen gaat er bijna 1 jaar voorbij, in volledige stilte, om dan via deurwaarder 95,8€ te vorderen. SOLIDARITEIT in de event-sector, toch niet bij Total-e Event, integendeel.

I don't read anything about our delivered goods, quality and service… for that I may conclude that you are satisfied with our core business… which makes me happy.
May I remind you of a few details about the statement that slightly differentiate your displeasure. You should also receive the invoice at the email address you used to place the order. We have pointed out that we have charged an extra € 5.45 for a broken glass, after which you confirm that you will be correct. We will remind you a number of times of this outstanding payment at the same email address with which you placed the order and received the invoice. After no response, we waited another 6 months and then handed over the file to our counsel. May I also say that we only get the € 5.45 from the € 95.8, the rest are useless costs.
Then I would like to conclude that you would have responded better to one of the various e-mails than to spend time pedaling on a platform like this ...

Ik lees niets over onze geleverde goederen, kwaliteit en service…daarvoor mag ik besluiten dat u over onze core business wel tevreden bent…hetgeen mij gelukkig stemt.
Mag ik u wel herinneren aan een paar details over de afrekening die uw misnoegen enigszins anders kleuren. Op het mailadres waarmee u de bestelling plaatste mocht u ook de factuur ontvangen. Wij hebben u erop attent gemaakt dat we een gebroken glas van 5,45€ extra hebben aangerekend, waarna u bevestigt dit in orde te brengen. Op steeds hetzelfde mailadres waarmee u de bestelling plaatste en ook de factuur mocht ontvangen herinneren we u een aantal keer aan deze openstaande betaling. Na het uitblijven van enige reactie hebben we nog eens 6 maanden gewacht en daarna het dossier aan onze raadsman overgedragen. Mag ik ook melden dat wij slecht de 5,45€ krijgen van de 95,8-€, de rest zijn nutteloze kosten.
Dan wil ik concluderen dat u beter op een van de verschillende mails had geantwoord dan tijd te steken in het natrappen op een platform als dit…
