TAQA Theater De Vest has a particularly friendly appearance in a beautifully sleek ambience. The location has several rooms and foyers with a climate control system, to ensure that the temperature is constant and the atmosphere pleasant. The two theatre halls, the Kleine Zaal and the Grote Zaal, also come with an infrared sound system for the hearing impaired.

In addition to two theatre halls, this location also offers several meeting rooms, which can be used separately or combined. The rooms can be completely adapted to your wishes. Our location has a large multifunctional room that is ideal for parties and celebrations. The Plein Zaal is a unique and special room, as there is a beautiful panoramic view over the Canadaplein in Alkmaar and the Grote Sint Laurenskerk.

The historic Grote Sint Laurenskerk (1470-1520) is located in the centre of the cheese city of Alkmaar, opposite TAQA Theater De Vest. This monumental church building, in the style of Brabant Gothic, has been used as a multifunctional centre since 1996. It is possible to rent both locations together.
