At the end of September, Domain Zangersheide in Lanaken is traditionally the center of the show jumping horse world. The international show jumping community gathers there for the World Jumping Championships for young horses, the Belgian Jumping Championships for seniors, a stud competition and an auction of foals and horses of the highest quality. Veldeman provided all temporary accommodation for this prestigious jumping event for the fifth edition in a row.

The entrance square was equipped with terrace floors and various pagoda tents for food and drink stands for the general public. An aluminum hall measuring 15m by 75m, equipped with a combination of pyramid roofs and transparent roof tarpaulins, served as a gallery for exhibitors. The super high Phoenix arched hall measuring 20m by 50m was used for the central high-end bar, a real eye-catcher on the visitors' square, with cassette floors all around for the open terrace. A multi-storey tent measuring 10m by 60m was partly used for riders and partly used as a jury tower. Veldeman also provided a 'foal tent' for the young horses that were auctioned. In addition, various aluminum halls were installed for exhibitors, as a kitchen tent, crew tent and restaurant for the grooms.

The VIP tent, 20m wide and no less than 105m long, was equipped with 4 floor levels to give the VIPs an optimal view of the track. Unique to this edition were the Roman blinds that were specifically developed at the customer's request to allow the side walls, which used to be pushed aside, to be opened more quickly. Thanks to a pull-up system, this not only resulted in enormous time savings (from a few hours to a few minutes) but also improved visibility because they were nicely concealed in the tent structure. Also new were the sliding windows that were built in to allow the VIPs to enjoy show cooking with an ofyr.

Veldeman also installed floor levels in the existing auction hall so that the VIPs had an optimal view of the horses before the auction.

In this beautiful total project, Veldeman also took care of the decoration of our tent structures by means of upholstery, carpet tiles and carpet. The set of tents for this jumping, about 10,000 m² in total, was impressive to say the least!
