It was 1997 when I offered a photo calendar in the Kuurne shopping center with one of the very first more or less usable digital cameras.
With a Kodak DC50 (756x504px) and four color matrix printers from the nec brand, I achieved about 40 A4 prints per hour. Quite a lot for that time.
The DC50 can only be found in a museum: https://www.digitalkameramuseum.de/en/cameras/item/kodak-dc50
Photoevents is still doing well, thank you :-)
The core has always been Shoot&Print, where photos are printed on location, and has been expanded over the years with all kinds of special effects.
On photoevents.nu you can scroll back to all kinds of assignments from previous years. Unfortunately, most of the photos from before 2005 were lost in a server crash.
My training as a photographer started at the Academy in Ghent and today, more than before, I especially want to go back to the roots.
That is why I personally introduce myself, if necessary, as a photographer 'pur sang' during one of your upcoming events, but also as a reportage, documentary, portrait or even travel photographer.
No van full of stuff, but a camera bag on the back.
Apart from photography, I manage the entire process, including automation and publication on various media.
Please contact us and of course the Shoot&Print activations will continue as normal, possibly with one of my fellow photographers at the helm.
Cordial greetings,
Christian Titeca
