When E&C planned their annual seminar, they looked for something more than a typical retreat. As they were inviting team members from all over the world, they wanted an experience that would inspire creativity, strengthen team bonds and hit them with a 'wow-effect'. So, DAFT seminars team took them back in time to the late '60s, transforming the entire Daft facilities into a 'Mini-Woodstock'.

For two days, the boutique hotel became a backstage lounge, the glamping site a buzzing festival village and the Dome the heart of it all, hosting workshops and conferences by day and live music by night. Employees recorded a company anthem, gathered around campfires and recharged in this natural setting, far from the daily hustle. An immersive and unforgettable event.

But beyond the excitement, what are the real benefits of a seminar like this?

🔹 Stronger Team Bonds: Shared moments, like writing a team song, dancing together to live musicians, build trust and camaraderie. Studies show that informal experiences improve teamwork and engagement.

🔹 Better Communication: Immersive settings (and the Hippie look) certainly break barriers. Instead of structured talks, teams connect through fun, creative projects and outdoor challenges.

🔹 Boosting Creativity: Stepping outside routine sparks fresh ideas. The mix of music, nature and collaboration encouraged innovation and new ways of thinking.

🔹 Building Resilience: Performances and challenges push employees outside their comfort zones, developing confidence and adaptability.

🔹 Lasting Impact: The best seminars don’t end when the event is over. They create memories, strengthen company culture and drive long-term engagement.

E&C’s ‘Mini-Woodstock’ wasn’t just fun, it was an investment on their team. Leaving them with this question: How do they top it next year?
