JADA Events organizes a customized Schoenen Torfs Employee Day
Last month it was time for the annual Schoenen Torfs Employee Day, and it was truly a great day!
Some 600 employees came together in the Elisabeth Center Antwerp for a day full of fun, conviviality and of course lots of connection.
The day started with a nice breakfast, where everyone met in a relaxed atmosphere. After a pleasant start it was time for the plenary session in the impressive Queen Elisabeth Hall, where Torfs shared the plans for the future and the entire team showed how proud they can be.
In the morning there were several workshops where the employees delved deeper into company topics such as purchasing and digital & visual branding and even ergonomics. There was something for everyone, and it was a great opportunity to discover new things together and talk about what helps the company grow.
In the afternoon there were sessions about work-life balance, there was a fun speed dating activity, and everyone could participate in a super creative workshop where they made their own contribution with macramé and wood for one big joint artwork afterwards. This way the power of connection became literally and figuratively visible!
The highlight of the day was the fashion show. Employees proudly showed their own latest collection, with an emphasis on family & children. It was great to see the team come together to present this new collection.
The day was concluded with fries, snacks and a banging finale by DJ Tom. Schoenen Torfs has proven with this Employee Day once again how important it is to work together, grow and have fun. What a day!

Afgelopen maand was het tijd voor de jaarlijkse Schoenen Torfs Medewerkersdag, en het was echt een topdag!
Zo’n 600 medewerkers kwamen samen in het Elisabeth Center Antwerp voor een dag vol plezier, gezelligheid en natuurlijk veel verbinding.
De dag begon met een lekker ontbijt, waar iedereen elkaar in een ontspannen sfeer ontmoette. Na een gezellig begin was het tijd voor de plenaire sessie in de indrukwekkende Koningin Elisabethzaal, waar Torfs de plannen voor de toekomst deelde en het hele team liet zien hoe trots ze kunnen zijn.
’s Ochtends waren er verschillende workshops waarin de medewerkers dieper ingingen op bedrijfs topics zoals aankoop en digital & visual branding en zelfs ergonomie. Er was voor ieder wat wils, en het was een mooie kans om samen nieuwe dingen te ontdekken en te praten over wat het bedrijf helpt groeien.
In de namiddag waren er sessies over work-life balance, was er een leuke speeddating-activiteit, en kon iedereen meedoen aan een super creatieve workshop waarbij ze met macramé en hout een eigen bijdrage maakten voor nadien één groot gezamenlijk kunstwerk. Zo werd de kracht van verbinding letterlijk en figuurlijk zichtbaar!
Het hoogtepunt van de dag was de modeshow. Medewerkers toonden trots de eigen nieuwste collectie, waarbij de nadruk lag op familie& kinderen. Het was geweldig om te zien hoe het team samenkwam om deze nieuwe collectie te presenteren.
De dag werd afgesloten met frieten, hapjes en een knallende afsluiter door DJ Tom. Schoenen Torfs heeft met deze Medewerkersdag opnieuw bewezen hoe belangrijk het is om samen te werken, te groeien en plezier te maken. Wat een dag!
