Nature vs. culture Boijmans Ahoy drive-thru museum was created as a reaction to the 1.5 meter society and shows the current tension between nature and humans. The world as we have created it is under pressure, nature is reclaiming its space. As tiny and small as a virus is, so great is the impact it has on our lives. Everything stands still for a moment, it shows us our vulnerability and the limits of existence. We are thrown back on ourselves. Sometimes in all of this art offers comfort or a predictive look; another time it shows the capriciousness of human existence. 'Boijmans Ahoy drive-thru museum' examines the boundary between what our humanity is capable of and the unprecedented power of nature. Reserving time slots Visitors buy a ticket online in advance for all occupants of the car via www.boijmans.nl/drivethru . This will reserve a time slot on which they may enter the exhibition by car.
