A sailing Christmas showroom: OCEANDIVA and Edelman join forces!

We bring the showroom to the customer
Together with Edelman, one of the largest importers in the field of home accessories, OCEANDIVA creates a sailing showroom. “Normally we receive customers from all over the world from the beginning of December to the end of April to present our new Christmas collection. Due to travel restrictions, this is not possible for the time being, ”says Ronald van Veen, Managing Director of Edelman. Edelman soon came up with the idea to bring the showroom to the customer. They saw that many ships were stationary and started looking at the possibilities.
Three-month roadshow
After a short search, Edelman came into contact with OCEANDIVA. Mandy Berding, Managing Director of OCEANDIVA says: “Normally we are fully booked with events months in advance, but Covid 19 has wiped the entire schedule off the map. Edelman comes at the perfect time. We were ready for a creative interpretation for our ships and a three-month roadshow is absolutely fantastic at this time. ” Edelman will move into the OCEANDIVA Original from January, making the sailing showroom a fact.
Safe and unique experience for customers
Both parties are busy preparing the 2500m2 of the OCEANDIVA Original and furnishing it with Christmas trees, Christmas lights and decorations. From January 4 to March 5, 2021, the showroom will sail through Germany. By appointment, customers can visit the showroom in a safe and unique way and immerse themselves in the Christmas trends for 2021. Reason enough to ring the bell and toast to a pleasant cooperation.

Samen met Edelman, één van de grootste importeurs op het gebied van woonaccessoires, creëert OCEANDIVA een varende showroom. “Normaal ontvangen wij van begin december tot eind april klanten van over heel de wereld om onze nieuwe kerstcollectie te presenteren. Door de reisbeperkingen is dit voorlopig niet mogelijk”, zegt Ronald van Veen, Managing Director van Edelman. Edelman kwam al snel op het idee om de showroom naar de klant te brengen. Ze zagen dat veel schepen stillagen en zijn gaan kijken naar de mogelijkheden.
Roadshow van drie maanden
Na een korte zoektocht kwam Edelman in contact met OCEANDIVA. Mandy Berding, Managing Director van OCEANDIVA vertelt: “Normaliter zijn wij maanden van tevoren volgeboekt met evenementen, maar Covid 19 heeft de volledige planning van de kaart geveegd. Edelman komt op het perfecte moment. Wij waren toe aan een creatieve invulling voor onze schepen en een roadshow van drie maanden is in deze tijd helemaal geweldig.” Edelman neemt vanaf januari haar intrek op de OCEANDIVA Original en daarmee wordt de varende showroom een feit.
Veilige en unieke beleving voor klanten
Beide partijen zijn druk bezig de 2500m2 van de OCEANDIVA Original gereed te maken en in te richten met kerstbomen, kerstverlichting en decoratie. Vanaf 4 januari tot en met 5 maart 2021 vaart de showroom door Duitsland. Op afspraak kunnen de klanten op een veilige en unieke manier de showroom bezoeken en zich onderdompelen in de kersttrends voor 2021. Reden genoeg om de scheepsbel te luiden en te proosten op een fijne samenwerking.
