At Center Parcs De Vossemeren we welcome you to our professional and recently renovated Business Center with 7 meeting rooms between 36 m² and 560 m², all with plenty of daylight and a view of the greenery. During your break, you can drink coffee outside at the lake, where the view is breathtaking in winter and summer. Here you can organize your conferences and meetings for up to 500 people. A wide choice of restaurants for lunch and dinner completes the offer.

Center Parcs is once again introducing itself to the business market with Meetings & Events

Center Parcs changes the name of its business branch. With the change of name to 'Center Parcs Meetings & Events', it confirms the investments made in recent years in its business centers and the business product. In addition, the name change helps to give business customers a clearer picture of the possibilities that Center Parcs offers in the business field. With a renewed range of almost all accommodation options, organizing meetings and events in the parks of Center Parcs is becoming increasingly attractive for a broad business target group.

True transformation of the parks offers new opportunities In recent years, Center Parcs invested 740 million euros in its parks, which means that the parks have undergone a true transformation. In May 2021, the new strategic plan “Reinvention 2025” was also presented. This includes not only the renewal of existing parks, but also an expansion of the range of experiences, with even more sustainable initiatives and local projects. These innovations are illustrated by the new brand positioning, combined with a brand new visual identity, which were introduced on January 4.

The brand positioning not only focuses on the core business of the organization, but also in the approach towards the business guest. “As an organization, we also specifically want to invite this target group to get acquainted again with our unique business offer under the title of Center Parcs Meetings & Events,” says Axel Waelbers, Country Sales Manager of Center Parcs and Sunparks in Belgium. Together with his Dutch colleague Eelco van Schellebeek, Country Sales Manager and responsible for the Dutch market, Waelbers looks forward with confidence: “In recent years, a lot of time and money has been invested in what everyone knows about Center Parcs; the nature, the accommodations, the restaurants, the Aqua Mundo and the leisure activities, but also in the business facilities, such as the business centers. With the completion of these locations just before or during the COVID19 period, it was difficult to bring this to the attention of our business guests. Now we see the demand for sustainable gatherings and the desire for unique experiences with colleagues and relations increasing. Center Parcs Meetings & Events responds to these needs today and tomorrow”, says van Schellebeek.

Center Parcs Business Solutions becomes Center Parcs Meetings & Events The new positioning also includes a new name and Waelbers and van Schellebeek are pleased with this name change. A name that they already had on their business card, until it was decided in 2009 to change the name to Center Parcs Business Solutions. Waelbers: “Our department meets almost every need from the (business) market that is not met as standard within the regular processes of our organization. You can think of meetings, team building activities, gift vouchers as a promotional gift, temporary living space for expats or work projects, exclusive park buy-out for a unique corporate event and B2C partnership events. You can actually think of it as crazy as we offer a solution. The term Business Solutions therefore certainly covered the load, but it remained a container concept. With the name change to the more expressive name: Center Parcs Meetings & Events, we want to address the business market even more clearly.

The best-kept secret

Many Belgians and Dutch people are familiar with Center Parcs and have used the facilities in various phases of life. Waelbers: “Our goal is to familiarize all our regular guests with the unique business offer. Many of the guests also work for a company that may be interested in our business offer. A part that we jokingly call 'the best kept secret' of the organization. As a team, we are happy to change that. Van Schellebeek: “We have set up a number of parks in each country in such a way that we can create an unforgettable experience with a team of specialists in consultation with our clients through both the park offer and local partners. Waelbers adds: “Take, for example, the renewed Center Parcs Park De Haan on the Belgian coast. With this we not only offer our Belgian compatriots a perfect base for a meeting or an incentive, but also for our northern neighbors the park, in combination with the coast and Bruges, is the ideal place for a stay with colleagues and or family”. The objective of the entire Meetings & Events team is to surprise guests with the unique business offer in the coming years. The focus of the team is on parks such as Park De Haan (BE), De Vossemeren (BE) and Les Ardennes (BE) as well as Park Zandvoort (NL), De Eemhof (NL) and Limburgse Peel (NL). Each park has its own specialists who are ready to explain the USPs of his or her park to business guests. Of course, the other 21 parks can also be used.

Center Parcs verandert de naam van haar zakelijke tak. Met de naamsverandering naar ‘Center Parcs Meetings & Events’ bekrachtigt zij de investeringen van de afgelopen jaren in haar business centers en het zakelijke product. Daarbij helpt de naamsverandering om zakelijke klanten een duidelijker beeld te geven wat betreft de mogelijkheden die Center Parcs biedt op zakelijk gebied. Met een vernieuwd aanbod van vrijwel alle overnachtingsmogelijkheden, is het organiseren van meetings en events in de parken van Center Parcs steeds aantrekkelijker voor een brede zakelijke doelgroep.

Ware transformatie van de parken bieden nieuwe mogelijkheden De afgelopen jaren investeerde Center Parcs 740 miljoen euro in haar parken en daarmee hebben de parken een ware transformatie ondergaan. In mei 2021 werd daarnaast het nieuwe strategische plan “Reinvention 2025” gepresenteerd. Dit omvat niet alleen de vernieuwing van bestaande parken, maar ook een uitbreiding van het aanbod aan ervaringen, met nog meer duurzame initiatieven en lokale projecten. Deze innovaties worden geïllustreerd door de nieuwe merkpositionering, gecombineerd met een gloednieuwe visuele identiteit, die op 4 januari werden geïntroduceerd.

De merkpositionering richt zich niet alleen op de corebusiness van de organisatie, maar ook in de benadering richting de zakelijke gast. “Als organisatie willen wij ook specifiek deze doelgroep uitnodigen om opnieuw kennis te maken met ons unieke zakelijke aanbod onder de titel Center Parcs Meetings & Events” vertelt Axel Waelbers, Country Sales Manager van Center Parcs en Sunparks in België. Waelbers kijkt samen met zijn Nederlandse collega Eelco van Schellebeek, Country Sales Manager en verantwoordelijk voor de Nederlandse markt, vol vertrouwen vooruit: “De afgelopen jaren is onder andere veel tijd en geld geïnvesteerd in hetgeen iedereen kent van Center Parcs; de natuur, de accommodaties, de restaurants, de Aqua Mundo en de leisure activiteiten, maar daarbij ook in de zakelijke faciliteiten, zoals de business centers. Met de oplevering van deze locaties net voor of tijdens de COVID19 periode was het lastig om dit onder de aandacht te brengen van onze zakelijk gast. Nu zien we de vraag naar duurzaam samenkomen en de wens om unieke ervaringen met collega’s en relaties toenemen. Center Parcs Meetings & Events antwoordt vandaag én morgen op die behoeften”, zo stelt van Schellebeek.

Center Parcs Business Solutions wordt Center Parcs Meetings & Events Bij de nieuwe positionering hoort ook een nieuwe naam en Waelbers en van Schellebeek zijn blij met deze naamswijziging. Een naam die zij eerder ook al op hun visitekaartje hadden staan, totdat in 2009 werd besloten om de naam om te dopen naar Center Parcs Business Solutions. Waelbers: ”Onze afdeling vervult vrijwel elke behoefte vanuit de (zakelijke) markt welke binnen de reguliere processen van onze organisatie niet standaard wordt ingevuld. Hierbij kun je denken aan, meetings, teambuilding activiteiten, cadeaubonnen als relatiegeschenk, tijdelijke woonruimte voor expats of werkprojecten, exclusieve park uitkoop voor een uniek bedrijfsevent tot aan B2C partnership evenementen. Je kunt het eigenlijk zo gek niet bedenken of wij bieden een oplossing. De term Business Solutions dekte daarom ook zeker de lading, maar het bleef een container begrip. Met de naamsverandering naar de meer sprekende naam: Center Parcs Meetings & Events, willen we de zakelijke markt nog duidelijker aanspreken.

Veel Belgen en Nederlanders zijn bekend met Center Parcs en hebben in de diverse fases van het leven weleens gebruik gemaakt van de faciliteiten. Waelbers: “Ons doel is om al onze reguliere gasten ook bekend te maken met het unieke zakelijke aanbod. Veel van de gasten werken namelijk ook bij een bedrijf dat interesse kan hebben in ons zakelijke aanbod. Een onderdeel wat wij gekscherend nog weleens ‘the best kept secret’ van de organisatie noemen. We brengen daar als team graag verandering in. Van Schellebeek: “Per land hebben wij een aantal parken zo ingericht om met een team van specialisten in samenspraak met onze opdrachtgevers middels zowel het park aanbod als ook met lokale partners tot een onvergetelijke ervaring te komen. Waelbers vult aan: “Neem bijvoorbeeld het vernieuwde Center Parcs Park De Haan aan de Belgische kust. Hiermee bieden wij niet alleen voor onze Belgische landgenoten een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een meeting of een incentive, maar ook voor onze noorderburen is het park in combinatie met de kust en Brugge de ideale plek voor een verblijf met collega’s en of familie”. De doelstelling van het totale Meetings & Events team is om de komende jaren de gasten te verrassen met het unieke zakelijke aanbod. De focus van het team gaat uit naar parken als Park De Haan (BE), De Vossemeren (BE) en Les Ardennes (BE) alsook Park Zandvoort (NL), De Eemhof (NL) en Limburgse Peel (NL). Ieder park heeft zijn eigen specialisten die klaarstaan om de USP’s van zijn of haar park toe te lichten aan zakelijke gasten. Uiteraard kunnen ook de overige 21 parken worden ingezet.
