When you enter the Bourla Theater, you immediately get a special feeling. The interior with Pompeian red, mirrors and gold leaf catapults your guests back to the opulence of the belle epoque. In 1834, the theater designed by Pierre Bourla was inaugurated and recognized as one of the best built theaters in Europe. Since July 2014, the Felix Pakhuis team - together with the permanent theater company Toneelhuis - is the proud owner of the Bourla Theater, and they wish, just like in the Felix Pakhuis, to offer this majestic, breathtaking space for private and professional matters. The Bourla Schouwburg is an imposing building with stately stairs and pilaster columns, which at the same time evokes an intimate atmosphere. Many celebrations have taken place in the stylish Foyer, but organizing an event in the theater was previously difficult to combine with the busy theater program. We are therefore proud and pleased to announce to you that this is one of the possibilities of this music and theater temple from now on! Both spaces fit together nicely, and can therefore also be hired in combination.
