Horse stables @ C-Mine Genk
This unique location once served as horse stables for the Winterslag coal mine. The restoration was done with an eye for preserving the historical character in combination with a beautiful example of modern architecture. It is now a beautiful, open space with a view of the various historical elements from the mining past. This gem is now part of the complete C-mine site, a business zone with attention for creative companies.
In the Horse Stables, in addition to the Painting with Light offices, there are 2 spaces that you can rent for temporary events on weekdays during office hours.
- 'The Boilerroom' : the perfect meeting room. The breathtaking view of the old mine slag heap makes it an ideal break-out space for your creative meetings. The room can accommodate up to 20 people.
- 'De Studio' : The most unique event location in Genk and far beyond. This room can accommodate 180 people and breathes design. Company presentation, networking event, staff meeting, ... You can also rent this space as a Virtual Event Studio.
The corona crisis has caused a lot of changes in the event landscape. That is why we have also specialized in virtual events and can convert our STUDIO into a VIRTUAL EVENT STUDIO .
In collaboration with NEP Belgium, specialist in festival and sports productions, this live studio offers a smooth production of recording and broadcasting facilities, including full interactivity with live audiences. This project responds to the increasing demand for digital live events and content.
Painting with Light is confident that this new hybrid and mixed reality solution will meet all future communication needs. The new Virtual Event Studio can creatively and innovatively stage virtual events ranging from corporate meetings and presentations, brand activations and roundtables, product launches, conferences and seminars to parties and live music broadcasts.
