Start-Up: Meethub

Start-Up: Meethub

Meethub is a scheduling platform that simplifies business networking at events. People attend events in order to network.

The purpose is to meet contacts of interest and strike up a face-to-face conversation. The way that currently happens is often not all that efficient, neither for the organizer, nor for the participants. Both often still miss those critical meeting moments. Meethub is offering a solution to this and doctored up an innovative way to plan face-to-face meetings at events.

All that Meethub asks of the participants is to provide their availability and to select the people they would like to meet. Based on these details, Meethub will set up opportunities to meet. The app was launched in October of 2012 and has already proven its effectiveness at various events.

Meethub operates on a pay-per-use business model, meaning organizers pay a small fee for each participant that uses Meethub. This way, Meethub can guarantee there to be a low financial risk for organizers, yet provide them a huge plus point for their event.

In this 'Start-up' series we discover starters with an innovative offering that is beneficial to the event sector.
