Disneyland Celebrates 'Earth month' with a Projection on the Sleeping Beauty Castle

To celebrate 'Earth month' Disneyland Paris imagined and created a sound and light show, made of extracts of the latest Disneynature movies (The Crimson Wing: Mystery of the Flamingos, Wings of life, African Cats, Chimpanzee, Bears, Monkey Kingdom…) and some sequences which have been specifically recorded for this project.

Images were projected on the facade of the Sleeping Beauty Castle every evening in Apri. The Business Solutions Disneyland team brought together different skills and worked several months to produce the show: storytellers, infodecor specialists, event designers, ... The latest innovations have been used, such as mapping technologies with music synchronisation.

Nicolas Dupeux, Managing Director of Business Solutions at Disneyland Paris explains: "Our latest shows tell an original and unique story. They aim at creating emotions and strong memories for our clients. To achieve that goal, we constantly develop the most advanced expertise to stay the leader on our market."

This technical achievement is the result of a unique collaboration between Disneyland Paris and Disneynature. The work is created as a coloured and magnificent tribute to earth: lush jungle, enchanted mountains, monkeys and butterflies are thus brought to life on the 25.000 square meters facade, thanks to 16 digital spotlights.
