Instagram too is going to focus on livestreaming events. Earlier Facebook, Google and Twitter already launched similar functionalities.
Instagram Events is already available in the Unites States and will soon also be deployed worldwide. This way, you can use the app to look at concerts, sports matches, big events or start streaming yourself. In a public statement, Instagram says that the livestreams you will get to see are customised to your preferences.
With Facebook being the mother company, it is not a huge surprise that a Facebook Live variant for Instagram was inbound.
