How the Internet of Things Can Improve Your Next Event

'The Internet of Things? Are you kidding me?' Yes, I agree. It’s almost impossible to keep up with all the fancy tech words that are monopolizing our industry.

But just five years ago, only a few tech-savvy people were aware of the hidden potentials of event mobile apps. Nowadays, we can’t imagine planning a good event without them. What if the next milestone that holds the power to change the event industry is called the 'Internet of Things'?

According to research published by Ericsson, more than 50 billion objects will be connected to the Internet by the year 2020. That’s an average of six objects for every person on the planet! On the other hand, a GE report indicates that by the year 2025, the Internet of Things will expand "to $82 trillion of output, or approximately one-half of the global economy."

And although predictions are in the not-so-distant future, you can already use the Internet of Things right here, right now at your next event. Here's how.
